Sales Invoice Guide

Overview
The Sales Invoice feature allows users to record sales transactions in the system and submit them to the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) via Digitax. All required fields must be filled accurately to ensure compliance.
Purpose
- Record sales in compliance with ZRA regulations
- Ensure invoices are submitted to Digitax for validation
- Track financial transactions accurately
- Support reporting for VAT, Excise, and other taxes
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Create a New Sales Invoice
- Navigate to Sales → New Sales Invoice
- Select Sale Type (local, export, or LPO)
- Fill in all required details
2. Required Fields
Proper Sales Invoice creation ensures ZRA compliance, accurate reporting, and smooth integration with Digitax. Always double-check required fields and submit invoices promptly.

| Invoice Number | Unique invoice number in your system (CIS) |
| items | List of items sold |
3. Adding Items
- Include each item sold using previously registered items
- Each item object should contain:
- Item code
- Quantity
- Unit price
- VAT category
Submission & Validation
- Click Submit
- Invoice is sent to Digitax
- ZRA validates the invoice and sends a response:
- Fiscal Invoice Number
- Receipt Number
- QR Code
