Monitoring and Audit
All integration activity is traceable through standard Frappe logging infrastructure. No external monitoring tools are required.
Where to Look
| Log Source | How to Access | What It Contains |

| Error Log | Setup > Error Log | Failed sync attempts, authentication errors, employee mapping failures, device API errors |
| Scheduled Job Log | Setup > Scheduled Job Log | Execution history of sync jobs — when they ran, how long they took, whether they succeeded |
| Employee Check-in List | HR > Employee Check-in | All records created by the integration; filterable by device_id and log type |
| ZKTeco Biometric Settings | Module list | last_sync_timestamp field shows when each device was last successfully synced |
Filtering Error Logs
Error log titles follow a consistent pattern. You can search by:
ZKTeco Sync— general sync errorsZKTeco Auth— authentication/token failuresZKTeco User Status— enable/disable API failuresEmployee Not Found— biometric ID mapping mismatches
