3.4 Reviewing Applications
Submitted applications arrive in Desk as Party Onboarding Requests, under Sourcing → Onboarding → Onboarding Request. The workspace counter Applications to Review shows how many are waiting.
Who Can Review
| Applying as | Reviewer role |
|---|---|
| Supplier | Purchase Master Manager |
| Customer | Sales Master Manager |
Draft applications that applicants are still working on are hidden from staff and are not available for review until submitted.
Reviewing an Application

The request has four tabs:
- Details: what they are applying as, onboarding type, business details, tax and registration numbers.
- Contacts & Addresses: the contacts and addresses to be created.
- Bank Details: the bank account to be created.
- Supporting Documents: each uploaded file with its number and expiry date. Tick Verified as you check each one.

Making a Decision
Use the buttons at the top of a request in Pending Review:
| Button | What happens |
|---|---|
| Approve | Creates the Supplier or Customer, along with the contacts, addresses, and bank account configured under On Approval in Sourcing Settings. Attaches the supporting documents to the new party, links the applicant's login to it, and emails the applicant. |
| Return for Correction | Returns the application to the applicant with your note. The applicant can make corrections and resubmit it, after which it returns to Pending Review. |
| Reject | Closes the application with the reason provided. The applicant can see the rejection reason. |
A reason is required to return or reject. Your remarks and the decision are recorded on the Review tab and in the timeline.
After Approval
The Party field on the Review tab links to the new Supplier or Customer. You can now send RFQs to that supplier, or the customer can start ordering. You can't cancel an approved request once its party has been created.
